The print quotation feature simplifies the process of communicating treatment costs to patients. With just a few clicks, dentists can generate and print a detailed quotation of the recommended treatments. The document is professionally formatted, and all the information is clearly presented. It has a list of recommended treatments, their individual costs and the total cost.
The feature does not allow dentists to edit pricing for the treatments. This includes the total cost, discounts or any other price adjustments. Not being able to change the price makes sure of the standardisation and consistency in the quotations provided to patients.
This feature is printed from the patient’s treatment plan. You can view it from either the patient profile or the current visit page. As the dentist, when you start the visit with the patient add the recommended treatments. Once added, click on the three-dotted option found next to the Notes Editor and choose Print Quotation. You can add specific recommended treatments – or add them all – and importantly select whether you want to showcase the cash price or the insurance price.
Generate the quotation and send or print it to the patient. The quotation will include the clinic information, patient information and finally treatment information. This document will help the patient get a better perspective on the financial side of the treatment. This way, they can choose whether to go forward with the treatment or reject it.
